What to have ready
None of this needs to be precise. It just makes the first call more useful than a game of twenty questions.
- The room and roughly its size. Pacing it out is fine.
- What is directly underneath it. Open basement, finished basement, crawlspace or concrete slab. This one answer decides more about a project than almost anything else, because it determines how hard it is to move plumbing.
- What you want changed. Even loosely. "The shower leaks" or "the layout is unusable" is a fine starting point.
- Roughly when. Whether you are looking at spring or at next month changes the conversation.
- Your town. Permit processes differ by municipality.
Why there is no contact form
Because a form on a contractor website is usually a message that sits somewhere for two days before anyone reads it, and then the reply asks the four questions above. A five-minute phone call answers all of them and often tells you whether we are the right company before anyone drives anywhere.
If a form would genuinely be easier for you, say so when you call and we will sort out an email address for the correspondence.
What we do
Kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling across nineteen towns in Essex and Union County. That includes the framing, plumbing, electrical and tile work inside those rooms. It does not include roofing, siding, decks, additions or basements.

Before you call
What should I have ready?
Rough dimensions of the room, what is directly underneath it (basement, crawlspace or slab), what you want changed, and roughly when you want the work done. None of it has to be precise. Those four things are enough for a genuinely useful first conversation.
What happens on the call?
We ask about the room and you ask about us. Often we can say on the phone whether what you are picturing is straightforward, complicated or not possible in your house. If it makes sense to look at the room, we arrange that. There is no obligation attached to the phone call.
Do you charge for an estimate?
Talk to us about it on the call. Practices vary in this trade and we would rather tell you directly than publish a claim on a website that may not apply to your particular project.
How soon can you start?
It depends on the season and on what is in front of us. What we can tell you honestly is that cabinetry lead times usually control a kitchen start date more than our schedule does, and that we would rather give you a real date than an optimistic one.
I only need a small job. Is that worth calling about?
A shower rebuild, a vanity replacement, a backsplash, a tub swap. Those are all normal jobs for us. What we do not take on is work outside kitchens and bathrooms.
